TW: Sexual Violence

We’ve just launched our first University-wide sexual violence prevention campaign in partnership with LUU, and we need your society’s help in promoting the campaign to students as well as the ways they can get involved. 

How you can help... 

Share the campaign web page. The sexual violence web page includes info about what sexual violence is so you can recognise it when it happens, a consent toolkit with helpful phrases to give and get consent, plus practical ways to help make Leeds a safer place for everyone. 

Sign the student pledge to show up against sexual violence and share the form through your channels. There is a pledge form that students can sign to show support and join the growing community of students committed to learning about sexual violence, reflecting on their own behaviour, and taking action when they see sexual violence.  

Spread the word in your society with postcards and pin badges. We have a limited supply of postcards that provide information about the campaign and a QR code to the web page, as well as ‘Show up for Leeds’ pin badges. You can request some for your society by contacting studentcommunications@leeds.ac.uk.
